IIn the summer of 2004,
Aphrodesia, a San Francisco-based Afrobeat band, organized and completed the
"Just Vote Tour", a coast-to-coast , San Francisco to New York,
voter registration musical tour on a bus running on 100% recycled vegetable
oil. The documentary follows a group of musician and engineers across the
country in two buses powered by 100% recycled vegetable oil educating the
public and bringing awareness to the sustainable energy technology of biofuel
powered transportation as one of the alternatives to the world's dependency
to fossil fuels
This video was produced
to help Aphrodesia find sponsors for the project of preparing the first fully
functioning ECO BUS to educate the public on alternative sources of energy.
Outreach: Screening of "Aphrodesia JustVote Tour" to environmentally oriented groups, organizations, colleges, libraries and educational institutions.
